Public Health and Wellness Offers Low-Cost Fun Fitness Classes ...

Start the New Year right ? become more active!

The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness offers free and low-cost exercise classes at various locations throughout the community. Classes will be added throughout the year, so be sure to call 502-574-8661 or visit http://www.louisvilleky.gov/HealthyHometown for an updated schedule.

No prior registration is required. Simply come and have fun!

Low Impact Aerobics

Low-impact aerobic exercise consists of rhythmic movements with at least one foot on the ground involving large muscle groups accompanied by music. They are ideal for people who want to begin an activity regimen.

Zumba

Zumba combines Latin and international music with dance to make exercise fun. Classes use music based on salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, samba and other international styles.
