Jennifer Ellison: I want more children after Dancing on Ice - Celeb ...

PRETTY Jennifer Ellison strikes a pose ahead of tonight?s ?dazzling routine to Madonna?s ?90s smash hit Vogue.

The brave former Brookside star has battled through the agony of a cracked rib to perfect the tough ice dance.

Jennifer, 28, hides the pain well but one thing she can?t keep to herself is her desire to have more kids when Dancing on Ice is over.

She fell pregnant with son Bobby, who was two yesterday, within weeks of trying with husband Robbie Tickle and hopes success will be as quick again.

She told The People: ?I?d like to have another baby at the end of the year. I?m ready now to start trying again.

?I have a feeling I might have ?another boy but I?d love a little girl. I?d like at least three children. I really want Bobby to have brothers or sisters.

?You don?t realise how much you rely on them on later in life, especially when something bad happens.?

Jennifer has a sister but hubby, former boxer Robbie, 32, comes from a large family with seven aunts and uncles and 35 cousins.

And the importance of a big family to Jennifer really struck home when she announced her pregnancy.

She said: ?Rob?s grandad died on the day I found out I was ?pregnant with Bobby. It was incredibly sad but ?everyone was there for each other. I remember thinking, this is what life?s about. That?s why I want Bobby to have brothers and sisters.?

Jennifer?s family plan could influence at least one decision on the ice ? she may steer of the ?notoriously risky headbanger move ? but she is loving every minute of the competition. Last week she was praised by the judges despite losing a duel with S?bastien Foucan, 37. But Jennifer, partnered by Dan Whiston, 35, thinks it will be a tall order for them to win. She said: ?Jorgie and Matt are in a different league. But I do want to ?improve as much as I can. It is much harder than I expected it to be.?

Strike a pose: Jen tests her moves

Off the ice, things are gliding along nicely with Robbie and after she lost the five stone she put on during her ?pregnancy. She even releaed her own Fat Blaster Workout DVD to help ?fellow dieters. Smiling, Jennifer said: ?Rob has got the most amazing ?qualities. He is very romantic but not in a cheesy way. He buys me flowers and does lovely things that are really subtle, that no one gets to know about.

?He is always telling me how gorgeous I am, which is one of the reasons I didn?t realise how big I was.Now I?ve lost the weight, Robbie says: ?I think your body is amazing.??

She went on: ?I?m glad I didn?t lose the weight too quickly. People were so quick to criticise me, saying I was a disgrace and had let myself go. But it was so nice to enjoy my pregnancy.?

Motherhood suits Jennifer, who played Emily in Brookie for five years and won the cooking programme Hell?s Kitchen. Her face lights up as she talks about Bobby. ?He is just a fabulous little character, I?m so proud of him when I look at him.?

Last week she was upset when Dancing on Ice bosses banned Bobby from watching her perform live on safety grounds but ?yesterday said: ?If it is in his best ?interests, then it?s fine.?

She can barely ?believe she is ?performing herself.

She said: ?Two years ago I was the size of a small house. If someone said I?d be taking part I would have said not a chance in hell.?
