Marvel is teaming with its corporate sibling ABC for a graphic novel inspired by the network's crime series Castle, according to published reports.
Castle: Richard Castle's Deadly Storm is described as a graphic novel adaptation of mystery writer Richard Castle's thriller Deadly Storm. Of course, neither Castle nor the novel is actually real: Castle is played by Nathan Fillion, while Deadly Storm is part of the character's series of novels about Derrick Storm.
The 112-page hardcover will be available Sept. 28, around the time the new fall season gets under way. Check out the cover art here.
The project is from writers Brian Michael Bendis and Kelly Sue DeConnick, interior artist Lan Medina and cover artist Carlo Pagulayan.
The season finale of Castle aired Monday night.
Marvel and Disney are both owned by ABC.
