Open Question: Is an Alano Espanol the dog for me? | Pets ...

Home >All Categories > Pets >Dogs >Open QuestionI'm 16 years old and looking for a puppy shortly. I do have two other dogs in the house, one is a family pet, golden retriever age 7, the other is a pomeranian/chihuahua age 1 year, he is my grandmothers dog. In our house there is two parents my grandmother and younger siblings age 12. I know what the internet says but does anyone know how good they are with other pets and family members. This dog will be my own dog. I do go to school throughout the day but my mother is home all day. Would the dog do fine on a lead or chain in the yard outside for as much as he wants and an acre of yard to romp around free while im home. My neighbors and I enjoy walks in the woods an hour or two a day atleast three times a week and have a park down the road. Is this enough excersize for them? I also have i cat that is only indoors roughly three times a day, or do i have to watch to make sure he doesnt end up dinner. I've had a six month old rottweiler in my house for 2 days and he chased my cat around the house and my cat attacked so quick he was confused haha but that was it they didnt fight anymore. I read they can climb a tree like a cat is that actually true? I want a dog that can watch the house firmly and watch for strangers but welcome family and common friends with love. Are they an affectionate and loving dog breed as well? Thanks for your time !Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
